How you can work with the HTA programme

New developments in health research funding are transforming the way research in the NHS is organised and carried out. The HTA programme is playing an important role in this - and you can help shape its agenda.

The programme aims to ensure that high quality research information on the effectiveness, costs and broader impact of health technologies is produced in the most effective way for those who plan, provide or receive care in the NHS.

HTA research findings directly influence key decision-making bodies such as the National Institute for Health and Clinical Excellence (NICE), and the National Screening Committee (NSC), who use HTA research to help raise standards of care in the NHS.
