About Health Technology Assessment journal series
Health Technology Assessment is the peer reviewed journal for the HTA Programme. Reports are published in the HTA journal series if (1) they have resulted from work for the HTA Programme, and (2) they are of a sufficiently high scientific quality as assessed by the referees and editors.
The journal is indexed on MEDLINE, CINAHL, EMBASE, the Cochrane Library and the ISI Science Citation Index and assessed for inclusion in the Database of Abstracts of Reviews of Effectiveness.
Published journals are available for free download from the website and includes the full text and any appendices, as well as executive summaries (four to six pages) and abstracts or mini-summaries where available (one page). Printed copies are also available at a cost of £20, read more.
