Proposals received by 1pm on Monday 2 September 2013 and deemed within remit will be assessed for their importance to the NHS in November 2013 and January 2014. Applicants will be advised of the status of their application by the beginning of February 2014.
Prioritised proposals from this round will be considered by the CET Funding Board on 18/19 March 2014 who will assess for scientific quality, feasibility and value for money. Decisions from the CET Funding Board will be communicated to applicants by late March 2014. Following this meeting successful outline proposal applicants will be invited to submit a full proposal. Applicants have eight weeks to complete a full application form for it to be considered at the next CET Funding Board.
