Disease Prevention Panel (DPP)
The DPP was set up in 2005, in response to the government's ‘Choosing Health’ white paper, to identify and prioritise health promotion and public health topics. Through the DPP the HTA programme is in the process of funding a portfolio of research into the value of health technologies designed to promote health, prevent disease and reduce health inequalities.
