HTA boards

The boards help to guide the work of the HTA programme to ensure that it produces high quality research that addresses the needs of the NHS. At the commissioning stage, the boards assess the scientific merits of research proposals submitted to the programme.

When research is completed, the HTA Editorial Board oversees the intensive peer review process that all HTA research projects go through before they are published in the internationally acclaimed Health Technology Assessment journal series.
